Any idea why I get black screen when selecting certain family groups, alway happens on 2r 3 groups but can happen on more?
Also when reviewing order in group entry only show lines in that family, need to revert to whole catalogue view to see all lines ordered?

The black screen means that there are no results (products) that match your current filtering criteria. Since you can use a combination of catalogue, family codes, search bar and (during order entry) ordered/all filters there may be instances where no product is satisfied by all the given criteria.

That is correct. The filters still apply when you're reviewing an order. You can quickly reset all filters by pressing the All button in the top-right next to the search box (if you have entered search criteria, this button will be marked Clear. In this instance, simply press it once to clear the search. The button will change to All. Press it again to reset the filters).

Filter/search box is clear but i still get black screen on certain groups
Products in that family can be found in number search so they are in Products file

I've taken a look at your cloud data and it looks like you've been setting file mappings, uploading and processing files then changing the file mappings (for family codes and product family codes), but not deleting the original files from your cloud account via the Manage Files option. Therefore, those files were still "active" files.
I have removed the original files. Please use the Force a full download option in Sales Presenter, followed by the Download from cloud option then check to see whether the products now appear as expected.

Thanks for checking it out
Presume files with same name are overwritten but old files with changed mappings need deleting?
Also sure if I have set my products up correctly-all products can be viewed ok
My 2nd family appears as tab to right of main-when I click into this it acts as filter so have to "Clear all" to view main products in no1 group?
I understand products cannot be set up yet in tree structure but if I have products appearing in 2 groups (say new lines + promotions) then would like to view as separate groups

Presume could add these to main group as dupe code entry but with different group code but nod ideal as does not match back office system

Yes, files with the same name will be overwritten. Once you've finished your initial data setup it will be quite rare that you'd be changing any file mappings.

The five family code buttons (and the catalogue button) are filters that can be selected or reset independently of each other. To reset an individual filter, simply select the first entry in its list (represented by a "dash" symbol). The Clear/All buttons are just quick ways of resetting all your current filters at the same time.

It sounds like you really want to be setting up catalogues for "new lines" and "promotions" rather than try to set them up via family codes. Products can appear in any number of catalogues whereas the family codes are designed for use with actual characteristics of a product (such as style, colour, size).

The GroupCode field for a product is only used by Sales Presenter to allow price lists to be set up for a group of products. It doesn't form any part of the search/filter functionality when browsing products.

We've only tended to see low memory warnings here and there on a first generation iPad.
If you're getting them on an iPad 2 then I would say you've got a few memory-intensive apps currently open. You can check this by double-clicking the home button on the front of your iPad. You will then see a list of open apps. I recommend that you close any apps that you're no longer wishing to instantly switch to. Safari, Mail and the AppStore app are usually good candidates to close.

Large zip files will take a while to upload and process. I can see that you've successfully uploaded zip files of around 50MB in size.
The upload process should cope with files of up to 1GB in size (the largest we've seen uploaded so far was 559MB) but I recommend uploading several zip files containing batches of images rather than one large file containing all images.

Thanks for reply
On images still taking too long
We are using our full hi res images, suggest we rescale to 800x800 and to lower resolution- currently 720 dpi-
Please advise resolution we should use for quicker download

Please see the following topic: http://www.bacapps.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=18
Essentially, images are automatically resized during the cloud upload process (details in the above topic). Therefore, while uploading full hi-res images is fine, if you've got the ability to resize your images prior to uploading them then this is will significantly reduce the time it will take to upload.

Can't see info on resolution ?
Web normally 72 dpi?
