Hi
I'm currently getting product photos ready for use in your app and notice that you resized images, so was wondering what is the best ratio to use and resolution to save our photos as?
Thanks
Dan

Images are automatically resized to a maximum of 768x768 (maintaining aspect ratio) before they're downloaded to the iPad.
Uploading images smaller than this to the cloud will look fine in the catalogue and product detail views but may start looking a bit pixelated when viewing them full-screen in Sales Presenter. Therefore, for best viewing quality upload images that are at least (or close to) 768x768.

Why are the photos resized to a square size when images taken are portrait or landscape are rectangle?
Offline
They're not. Images are resized to a maximum on 768x768, whilst maintaining their aspect ratio.
Therefore, landscape images larger than 768 pixels wide will be resized to 768 pixels wide. Portrait images larger than 768 pixels high will be resized to 768 pixels high.

Hi, I would like to add some lifestyle images to showcase each product range, but if I load them as product images they cannot be viewed full screen. Is it possible to load images that can be viewed full screen?
Offline
All product images can be viewed full screen by double-tapping on the image on the product detail screen.
Only thumbnail size images can be shown in the family code and catalogue popup lists.

If you want to have these as additional images, with a different format to your normal product range, you could also consider attaching them as PDFs (productcode.pdf). These can then occupy the whole of the screen, or spill over onto a second page.
