The Blue Alligator website was offline for a couple of hours earlier today.
There was a hardware fault on the server which was traced to a failing memory module. This module has now been replaced, the site is up and running again and we will be closely monitoring the server over the next 24 hours.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

This was due to a widespread network outage experienced by our service provider.

We are experiencing an unusually high level of activity on the web server at the moment so we have put the cloud into maintenance mode while we investigate the cause.

We've found the cause of the high level of activity which resulted in users experiencing a very slow responses from the cloud.
We've also taken action (until we fully resolve the issue) to ensure that the majority of users are no longer affected by it.
