From one of our users they have a problem with emailing the order acknowledgement. (It might be more but only one has reported)
If after getting the message of "failed to send email" i got them to close SP. Then try again and it worked. Try to send another order and the failed message appears. Have to close SP and it will send the email. So only able to send 1 email and have to close SP each time.

Emailing is handled by the operating system on the iPad rather than by SP. This means that we have no control over whether emails are actually sent or not. SP simply passes the email to the operating system.
The "failed to send the email" message displayed in SP is in response to the operating system telling SP that an error occurred while trying to queue or send the email message but, unfortunately, it doesn't give us any more information than that.
It may be worth double-checking the mail account setup and preferences on the iPad (or comparing with another iPad that is sending emails ok) as something might not be quite right there.

The email account works fine outside of SP. Only has problems with SP emails.

When the "compose email" screen appears, the operating system has already taken over (that screen isn't part of SP). Unfortunately, we have no control over what happens beyond that point.

We now have 3 users with this problem.
Now even if they close the SP and Mail App they cannot email the order acknowloedgement to the customer. One user then went straight into Mail and sent that same customer an email with the same email address and it sent straight away not even hanging around in the outbox.
If this was a problem with Mail or the operating system then why can an email be sent in Mail, but not from Sales Presesnter?

We're not sure what could be causing this for you at the moment. We haven't had any reports of the same issue from other users and emailing the order acknowledgement is one of the more commonly used features in SP.
Can you send emails ok in SP via the email option on the customer enquiry screen or does this demonstrate the same sympton?

If you're not getting a "failed to send" message in SP then it means that the mail application has accepted the email and is going to attempt to deliver it - whether it actually gets delivered or not could be down to a multitude of reasons/circumstances with sending emails in general and is beyond the scope of any SP application support we provide.
This is different to the issue Salcogroup is experiencing.
