Does setting rep restriction to his area mean only his customers are downloaded-or are all downloaded but then cannot view/edit? Due to our complex prices by customer structure takes long time to download all customers so would be quicker if only restricted accounts were downloaded tio i-pad. Thanks

While you can assign individual customers to their own price list, the actual price list data itself isn't customer specific so will always download to each iPad. After an initial download, incremental changes shouldn't take too long unless all your price list data is changing on a daily basis.
