transferring data to the ipad.

Hi,

I'm having great trouble understanding what data is required for this app.
We are a jewellery company and have many products to upload. Do we have to upload each item; its picture and information seperatly, or can we upload a whole word document of all of the items and then seperate it into categories on the ipad?

I've tried uploading a zipped word document which has many products, materials and prices but can not seem to access this on the ipad despite it saying that it has been successfully uploaded. I've also updated two images which have successfully uploaded but i can not access these either on the ipad.

Please help!!!

Finlay at Belmacz.

Re: transferring data to the ipad.

You need to be working with CSV (comma separated value) files for your data rather than word documents. These can be created in excel.

In the downloads section of this site you will find a getting started with your data guide and other useful downloads, such as example CSV files, that will help you prepare your data for uploading to your cloud account.

While the uploading of a zip file may report that it was successful, the contents will be ignored if they are not images or one of the CSV filenames that you've set up in the file mappings section of your cloud account.
