Due dates and cancellation dates

We would liketo make it mandatory for the sales agent to have to select the due date and the cancellation date of an order as we are having a lot of problems with sales agents not changing these dates. Can this be added to the wish list.

Re: Due dates and cancellation dates

You can configure the system to automatically set due and cancel dates to any number of days, months or years in advance for an order. The rep can then override these dates for any particular order as required.

Re: Due dates and cancellation dates

We currently use the configuration like that, but we want to force the agent to enter dates at the begining of the order as they are just being left as they are.

Re: Due dates and cancellation dates

From version 1.1.6 (currently with Apple, pending release) the due dates and cancel dates on orders are validated to ensure that a) the due date is not earlier than the order creation date, and b) the cancel date is not earlier than the due date.

You would be able to configure your cloud account to use a default of -1 days for both the due and cancel dates. This would in effect force the user to set the required due and cancel dates for an order.

Re: Due dates and cancellation dates

Yes. There is nothing to actually stop you doing that now but since the dates aren't validated within current versions of Sales Presenter you'll probably find that you'll have issues with all orders being sent in by your agents.
