Gentlemen,

I noticed that when adding a new customer the default currency was GBP.  I took this to mean British Pound.  I went to the cloud and clicked on configuration.  I found the field about default currency and changed it to USD.  I clicked update.  I then downloaded from the cloud to my ipad, and while my home screen shows 868 products, 243 customers, 33 live orders, it shows last data refresh NONE.  My logo is gone from the home page as well. When I login, my locations are there.  When I go to product categories, the categories are blank.  I click on the first category and I get the list of 5 product categories, and when I press one of the, I am kicked out of the program entirely.  I am at a market in Dallas, and I really need help restoring my system.  Please respond.

Gentlemen.

Problem was solved.  It seems that the problem was using the WIFI of the hotel in which I was staying was the problem.  I took my ipad off of the hotels WIFI and relied on my 3g network.  I performed a dowload and all is restored.  This may be of some interest to others trying to do a download from the road.
