Do both Sales Presenter and Cloudcart use the same order acknowledgement templates from PDF Order Acknowledgement. Seem to be getting different version sent to customers depending what platform the orders are placed. Also when viewing pdf from orders page, getting different version of the PDF.

SalesPresenter has access to 2 "Classic" order acknowledgement layouts (one with product photos and the other without). The "Classic" layouts have limited configurability via the Configuration > Order Acknowledgement section of your cloud account.
Other templates have a much greater level of configurability and can be found in the Styling > Manage Order Acknowledgments section of the cloud. Templates in this section are available to both SalesPresenter and CloudCart.
With SalesPresenter, the user has the ability to choose which template is shown before manually emailing the customer from the Preview screen in the app. The version of the order acknowledgement that is uploaded to the cloud alongside the order details and found in the Orders screen in the cloud will be the "Classic (without product photos)" layout.
For CloudCart however, the layout to to be sent to the customer is the one that is marked as "Default" in the Styling > Manage Order Acknowledgments section of your cloud account, though this can be overridden for individual CloudCart users via the Edit screen in the CloudCart > Manage User Accounts section. The version of the order acknowledgement that appears alongside the order in the Orders section of the cloud will match what was sent to the customer.

Ok now I am confused. When an order is placed on sales presenter do you have to manually send from the iPad? I was under the impression order acknowledgments were sent from the cloud when the order was received from sales presenter. We just want one order acknowledgment layout for both platforms, we don't want users or sales reps choosing the type of order acknowledgement. How do we achieve this?

For CloudCart you can set which layout is to be used as described in our previous post, but for SalesPresenter it is ultimately down to the rep to ensure they are using the layout you wish them to use (though the app does remember which layout they last used, so you should only have to advise them the preferred layout once and tell them not to switch after that).
The order acknowledgements for SalesPresenter can only be sent manually by the rep - order acknowledgments are only sent automatically for CloudCart orders.
