Formatting In Stock Value

Good afternoon.

Small request. Is there a way to format the units in stock value that is shown when I click on a product? ie, if there are 10000 units of a particular item in stock, can I format this figure so that I see 10,000 units?

Unfortunately this is not currently configurable
