Hi. We have always forced orders to be taken in full packs/Inners and Sales Presenter has worked well with this. We'd now like users to be able to order in multiple of single pieces for some items. I can see in Config _ order entry that I can tick a box to allow users to change the entry unit but I have two issues with this
1/ This is a global change at this level, is it possible to use other elements to only apply this selection to certain products?
2/ When this selection is switched on, the available alternate units are Pieces, Cartons, Inners and Packs. Is there any way to limit this to just Pieces and Packs (If need be I could swap a few things around and have Cartons and Inners set to the same quantities as Packs)
Many thanks
Simon

When the user has the ability to change the quantity entry unit, the available options they can switch to will be limited to the quantity types that have values entered into the corresponding fields in your uploaded Products CSV file. "Pieces" will always be available in this option, but if you only have a value in the QtyPerPack field in the Products CSV file and there are no values for the QtyPerCarton and QtyPerInner fields, then the only options to choose from for the product when changing the quantity entry unit would be "Pieces" and "Packs". If you currently use the QtyPerCarton and QtyPerInner fields for information purposes, but do not wish to have these as selectable options when the user is choosing the quantity entry unit, then you should consider putting the values into user fields instead.
It isn't possible to only apply the ability to change the quantity entry unit to certain products. We would suggest that for the products where you do not wish the user to order in "Pieces", that you set the OrdMultiple field to contain the same value as the QtyPerPack field in the Products CSV file. There are two configurations in the Configuration > Order Entry section of your cloud account that can be set to stop users from ordering a quantity that isn't a multiple of the OrdMultiple value - one to affect the plus/minus buttons and one to affect the quantity button. This way, even though the user would still be able to change to "Pieces", the quantity they enter will always effectively be in Packs anyway. You might also want to consider putting some sort of note (perhaps in a user field) to show on the product detail screen, so the users would be aware of which items they are allowed to sell in pieces.
If possible, we'd advise doing the above on a test cloud account first to see if the changes we've recommended meet your requirements without affecting your SalesPresenter users.

Hi. Many thanks for the detailed reply. It sounds as though I will be able to get what I want by changing a few options. I'll test in our test cloud account and get back to you if I have any further queries. Sounds very promising!
