Tapping on the customer "business card" doesn't seem to bring up any options for displaying a map. Is this a configuration setting or have I missed something?

There's no configuration setting. Tapping in an area of the business card that isn't the phone, email or map image will bring up a menu that shows options such as "Add New Customer" and "Show on Map". Also tapping on the map image would show the map.
However, if the map image on the business card stays dimmed then it means that the iPad can't establish the customers location based on their address details.

Having had a couple more support calls regarding this we've looked into the issue and have found there was a condition under which the map option wouldn't be available. This condition was incorrect, has been removed, and we're about to submit an update to Apple.
