"Sequence in which to browse products when not using a display sequence for a catalogue"
This Lists the products grouped by family codes. But the family codes order does not follow DisplaySequence as set in the FamilyCodes File
ie
Family codes
3family - DisplaySequence 1
2family - DisplaySequence 2
1family - DisplaySequence 3
Products are from 1family are displayed first, followed by 2family, followed by 3family
Offline
The DisplaySequence field in the FamilyCodes CSV file sequences the list of available family codes that are shown when you press the family code buttons. This does not affect the sequence of products in any way.
The configuration you've mentioned will sequence products alphabetically based on the values of the selected field in the Products CSV file. To achieve the results you are looking for, you would be best utilising a product user field to determine the sequencing of your products.
