Data upload

Hey guys

We have a recurring problem with our data upload. Files seem to upload fine when we log into here and manually push them. However, changes do not seem to apply when going the other way i.e. making changes on our system here and then those updated files being uploaded to Cloudsync.

What would likely be the cause to this?

Let me know

Thanks

Daniel

Re: Data upload

This is usually a result of changing your User Name and Pass Code on your cloud account. If you have changed these settings on your cloud account, you will also need to change them in the CloudSync application.

Re: Data upload

What should our details be? In Cloudsync the username and passcode in the Cloud Login Details are the same as it is for our iPads. Should those details be changed to what we log into Sales Presenter for?

Re: Data upload

The username and pass code for CloudSync must match the username and pass code that are on your cloud account used to connect the device to your account. If you log into your cloud account you will find the username and pass code on the main page.

Re: Data upload

Yes they do match, so I guess that's not the issue. What else could it likely be?

In Cloudsync, I've noticed in the Files to Upload tab that there's no entry here. Should this be set to the data Extract details setting on the Cloud Settings tab? The data extract details is where all of our config files from our back office system are held (customers, catalogues etc)?

Re: Data upload

Actually sorry forget that last point, they are connections that are looking to the data extract folders for our back office system and the images there.

Re: Data upload

So to add to the last point, there are connections to the back office system in Cloudsync. When I run an upload and process job from Cloudsync on our system to the cloud, despite us getting a process files message saying the job ran ok, the files don't appear to be different in Sales Presenter, they're still the same as before running the job. When we run the process job manually from Sales Presenter to our system, it runs fine and the files update ok.

Re: Data upload

Sales team emailed me for a meeting request in the UK but I'm not located in the UK.

Is there a feature to convert the pdf order/quote to excel or spreadsheet file?

Thanks!

Re: Data upload

This isn't possible in SalesPresenter, however there are other options available.
I've passed your message onto the Sales Team again to provide more information on those options.
