As we intend to run the app on a number of ipads for each of our reps - do we need to purchase the app separately for each ipad ?

While you can attach a small number of devices to the same iTunes account, we recommend that you use a separate iTunes account for each device, purchasing the app on each account. This will avoid any potential conflicts from arising in the future if you ever backup/restore devices, upgrade devices or wish to set up iCloud on your devices (which a rep may wish to use in order to keep an iPad and iPhone synchronised, for example).
