Setting up family codes

I'm very new to this but I can't understand how to set up the family codes such that my products may be selected by a variety of criteria. On the Sales Presenter there are no buttons showing just a Catalogue button on the top right. Can anyone help with how to fill in the FamilyCodes spreadsheet. I need a Mary Berry recipe I think lol.

Re: Setting up family codes

Thanks for your reply.
I have indeed read the document you recommend several times.
Is there any way you can show me a screenshot of what to put where? Like, what goes in the column headed Code?  Is it my product code or is it something else.
Under the description column is it the description that in is my products file that I copy and paste into this spreadsheet?
In the next column, wht does ExDescription mean and how does it relate to the previous column?
I think I understand that DisplaySequence means the button number on the Sales Presenter - is that correct?
Does the PhotoRef column mean the code for each photograph of my products as per my images?

Re: Setting up family codes

The Family Codes CSV file defines the families themselves, not the products that are in the families. The file should contain one family code per line. Each family code should be unique within the file.

Once this file is set up, the Code field can then be used to assign products to families via the family code fields in the Products CSV file.

For more information on the use of each field within the files to upload to the cloud, please refer to the Sales Presenter Import File Formats documentation (found in the downloads section).

Re: Setting up family codes

Is there any way you could explain that to me in more simple language? Maybe give me an example of what you mean. Or, can someone kindly call me or email me so that i can speak to someone directly?
