It has come to light that some users have been running the same "instance" of SalesPresenter on two or more devices. This occurs when a user makes a backup of a device which is running SalesPresenter, restores that backup to another device and continues to run SalesPresenter on both devices.
To the cloud, these devices appeared as a single device and therefore only one entry would appear in the devices list in your cloud account. As both devices continue to synchronise with the cloud they would each only be receiving partial sets of any new data. Symptoms of this would be users noticing customers or products are missing from one of the devices, or prices and stock figures are not being updated.
From today, if the user attempts to synchronise with the cloud on both devices they will receive the "this device must be authorised" message on one of the devices. This device is now being seen by the cloud as a second device in its own right and therefore you should log into your cloud account and authorise it as required. Please contact our sales team if you require additional cloud modules for the second device.
After ensuring that any orders taken on SalesPresenter have been uploaded to the cloud we recommend that you use the Reset Database option in SalesPresenter on both devices before downloading any new data. This will ensure that both devices have a clean set of data moving forward.

we get the message "device must be authorised" message in SalesPresenter after updating Sales Presenter from 1.4.2 to 1.5.4 (same iPad). The device makes a new database number. Reset Database does not help. So we need to authorize the new database number in the cloud for the same iPad. We could see the new database number 10338. But when downloading from cloud, this database number switches to another new database number (10339). Very strange. Please put both additional modules to the new database number.
Offline
The database number associated with the device is not fixed. It will change whenever the user performs a Force a Full Download or Reset Database.
We have moved the modules from the original device entry in your cloud account to the new one for you.
