Configuring which fields you can see on the product detail screen

In the Product Details configuration section of your cloud account, you could previously configure a maximum of 20 fields or gaps to be shown on the product detail screen within Sales Presenter.

This restriction has been removed. You can now configure any number of fields or gaps. The fields will still only occupy the space on the product detail screen to the right of the product image. Simply swipe up and down over the fields to view any that don't fit into this space.

Re: Configuring which fields you can see on the product detail screen

Is There Any Way To Increase The Field Size In The Product User Defined Category? Can The Space Below The Photo Be Utilised As Space For Product Description/materials Etc??

Re: Configuring which fields you can see on the product detail screen

There is a field mapping on the product file for an extended description field. The contents of this field are displayed across a maximum of three lines between the product image and the order line entry buttons. Sales Presenter automatically truncates any extended description contents that don't fit into this space.

See the example below:

Anyway this can be increased or a scroll through introduced? Most of our extended descritions are getting truncated.
Also can the Discopunt % block be hidden?

Good idea. We've made the extended description section scrollable this morning so it'll be available in the next update.

None of the buttons in the order entry section can be hidden at the moment. We've also had a request to hide the cancel date button so we'll be looking to give this section a make-over in a future update.

Re: Configuring which fields you can see on the product detail screen

Has this been fully implemented on latest release? I can scroll but still get truncated descriptions?

Re: Configuring which fields you can see on the product detail screen

Yes, the scrollable extended description section was implemented in version 1.1.4.

I have checked your data and some extended descriptions look truncated in your original product CSV file (for example, the extended description for product 301784 ends with ". Pack". Judging by other products I would say there should probably be some more text after this).

Have checked our original file and not all data in description has been imported-the scroll feature works ok.

Re: Configuring which fields you can see on the product detail screen

There is still an error in your uploaded CSV file which is truncating some of your extended descriptions (and creating garbled product entries).
