Stream Price

Is it possible to that if the customer is in Stream 1. That it would show the stream 1 price while browsing the catalog.

Also if a customer is NOT is Stream 1. Is it possible not to show the Stream Pricing at all.

tks
Joe

Re: Stream Price

It's not possible to hide fields on a customer by customer basis.

We do offer a comprehensive pricing cloud module, which allows you to upload more complex pricing logic to your cloud account such as price lists (allowing you to specify alternate standard prices for groups of customer accounts - these alternate prices would then appear when browsing a catalogue). Our sales team can send you some more information and pricing for this module if you wish.

Re: Stream Price

I have 4 different prices on a product , when viewing the product catalog i wish to be able to view the product by price list eg. only want to see the price 1 . If i go to a different customer site i wish to be able to show Price 2 on the products etc. I am in the process of setting customers up according to price code1-4 . Is it possible to be able to select what price band to show before entering the product catalogue.

Re: Stream Price

The system has moved on a little since the original post in this topic.

From version 1.1.8, if using a default price stream for a customer then the stream price is shown on the product thumbnail screen instead of the standard product price.

When creating a new customer account within Sales Presenter itself, you're currently unable to set a default price stream for the customer. We'll be adding this ability soon.

Re: Stream Price

I am looking to create 5 different catalogs, which we refer to as Zones, to reference specific prices for products that are being shipped to the corresponding zone. The shipping costs are worked into the price depending on what zone we are shipping to.
Is it possible to show specific pricing in each catalog based on the zone I define using the price streams.  I setup the zone prices as individual price streams.  However, regardless of which catalog I load on the iPad, all of the zone prices are listed.  I want to be able to go to a trade show and have sales people show customers specific zones, not all of the zones, as the prices are different for each zone.

Thx.

Re: Stream Price

Price streams are driven by customer rather than by catalogue.

While you can set up 10 price streams per product all these streams will be visible in the price selection popover. However, you can set the PriceStream field against your customers to determine which price stream SP should default to for each customer.

Re: Stream Price

Ok, thanks for the response.  I will review this method to see if this will work for us.

Re: Stream Price

I do not see how to set the PriceStream field against the customers so I can determine which PriceSteam (Zone in our case ) should default to for each customer.  Can you point me in the right direction on to do that?  Thanks.

Re: Stream Price

If you check out the field mappings screen for the customers file you'll see a PriceStream field that can be mapped from your uploaded CSV file. Simply map it to the field/column in your CSV file that contains the customer price stream number.

Re: Stream Price

We have recently purchased the Comprehensive Pricing Module and I have created and uploaded a new PriceLists.csv file and PriceListProductMatrix.csv file per the field information in the SalesPresenterImportFilesFormat.pdf, so we can associate our different zones with a newly created zone customers where we can map a PrimaryPriceList and PriceList(secondary) for each zone.  Our goal is to bring up a specific zone customer so we only see the 2 prices (Finish and Detailed) for the corresponding zones 2-5.  However,  after uploading the new files we are unable to see any pricing information for our products.  Can you please take a look at our data and advise what the issue might be?

Re: Stream Price

I would anticipate that you'd have five price lists set up in your PriceLists.csv file, one for each zone.

Looking at the pricing titles you've configured, you're using stream 1 as the finished price and stream 2 as the detailed price.

In your PriceListProductMatrix.csv file you'd have one entry for each price list and product code combination, supplying both the finished and detailed prices as stream 1 and 2. Make sure you also supply a value for the StartDate field (or simply set a default value such as 01/01/01 in the field mappings screen if you're not looking to map that field).

In your Customers.csv file you'd supply the price list that each customer would be using.

Re: Stream Price

I reviewed and double checked all of the related CSV files and field mappings, as well as your recommendations and the zone pricing is now working as expected.  This looks to have been an issue with the default StartDate.  Thank you.

Re: Stream Price

We have recently updated our new pricing data and we can no longer see our pricing again.  I have reviewed all of our uploaded csv files, file mappings and general settings.  However, we still are unable to see the pricing for our products. Can you please review and let us know what this might be?

Re: Stream Price

Until recently your customers were set up to default to one of the price streams you specify within your PriceListProductMatrix.csv file.

Since you are not mapping a StdPrice in your PriceListProductMatrix.csv file, you should either:

1. Populate the PriceStream column in your Customers.csv file with the default price stream you wish them to use within their specified price list, and then map the column in the field mappings section of your cloud account.

OR

2. Simply set a default value against the PriceStream field for your Customers.csv file in the field mappings section of your cloud account.
