Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

I am sending Invoices etc to clients by email. They are receiving the email but no attachment, however I am receiving them on my IMac.

It seems that those on non MAC systems are having problems receiving the attachment.

Help please

Charlie

One other point - When received on my IMac the documents also arrive on my desktop from which I can attach and send outside Sales Presenter successfully

Re: Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

There are known issues with sending emails with attachments in iOS 7. Please see the following topic for more information: http://www.bacapps.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=536

Re: Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

I have come up with something worthy of discussion?
When the generated invoice is only One page it only pastes the open invoice to the email which is not generally received by my clients.  If the generated invoice is Two or more pages it attaches the invoice in the form of a PDF Icon to the email which is received by my clients.

This is also the case In DAR's "My PDF" and other apps.  If you add a blank page to your Single Page document before converting to PDF I have found that All in Well.

Our problem in Sales Presenter is how can I add a blank page to my single page invoice before proceeding to email?  The only way I can see at the moment is to place dummy sales of zero value on your invoice which will push into a Two page document.

Thoughts Please

Regards

Charlie

Re: Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

There is no way you can add a blank page to the end of an order acknowledgement in Sales Presenter but we are having a think about the best way to move forward on this issue.

Hi
Just enquiring if you have come up with any solution regarding the "Single Page" problem which pastes to the email and does not attach unless there is two or more pages

Re: Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

We were looking for an elegant solution to this problem, but unfortunately we are going to have to implement a more temporary work-around until Apple fix the emailing issues in iOS 7.

Whenever a new version of Sales Presenter has been submitted to the AppStore, we post details of the changes made to the following topic: http://www.bacapps.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=26

The details of the work-around will be posted in the above topic. We recommend that you subscribe to the topic to ensure you are notified whenever there is a new post.

Re: Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

Hi
I've just seen the release notes for v1.3.9 and they look interesting, particularly the forcing of more than single page PDFs for orders and reports.
I don't suppose this also applies to PDF attachechments on products?   We sometimes use single-page spec sheets to promote our products, which the reps should be able to email to customers.  Should we set these up with a 2nd, blank page, or will 1.3.9 cope with these, too?
Thanks, Simon

Re: Invoice/orders Not Attached To Email

The option to force the generation of multi-page PDFs when only a single page would otherwise have been created only applies to PDFs that are actually generated by Sales Presenter. This includes order acknowledgements and reports only. All other PDFs will remain unaffected.
