Mapping

I'm an Agent a new user, and importing Products from my Microsoft Access Databases, which is where I previously processed orders. I'm having difficulty mapping some fields and seeing how they appear on the Product Detail Screen.
They are the following:-
OrdQty which is set as default '1' (1 being a pack).
Pack which would be say 6 or 8 or however many make up a pack.
Unitcost which is the cost of the single item.
Packcost which is the Unitcost x Pack.

Can you help please.
Thanks.

The default order quantity field (DefOrdQty) needs to be held in pieces (single items).

Therefore, if you have a pack size of 6 you would want to set DefOrdQty to 6.

You would want to also set QtyPerPack to 6 in this instance.

Then, if entering quantities in the packs unit, the system calculates the total number of pieces.

This would simply be mapped to the StdPrice field (since prices are held as piece/single item prices).

You will need to calculate this within your spreadsheet/CSV file and map it to one of the "user" fields so that you can display it on the product detail screen.

Re: Mapping

Thank you for your help so far. I have had some success with your suggestions. However, you state that the 'user' field information can be displayed on the product detail screen, but how do you do this? I have tried to put some identifying information in the user fields, but nothing changes on the product detail screen. Please help!

Re: Mapping

If you go into the Configuration->Product Details section of the cloud account you can configure which fields are displayed on the product detail screen and the sequence in which they're displayed.
