SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

One of our users is trying to place an order against our customer DELVES.
When they go to >Create New Order >Lines the App crashes back to the "desktop"

I've replicated this on my iPad, too.  Other customers on this reps territory seem ok.  We're both on iOS7 and SP1.2.8.
I've looked at the data and can't see anything obciously wrong.
Please could you see if you can identify the issue, and if it may be affecting other accounts, too?
Thanks

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

We're currently investigating this, but it's crashing when building up a list of products for the dynamic "previously ordered" catalogue. I would recommend temporarily disabling this catalogue by blanking out its title in the cloud configuration section of your cloud account until we've established the cause.

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

I've removed the specific order history for this customer and re-imported the order history files.  I could then add orders to this customer.  I've then added this customer's history back into the data and re-imported.  I can still add orders.   I wish i hadn't done this now, as i would have liked you to have been able to test the data for faults.  Any ideas?  Thanks

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

This could be affecting other accounts which is why we suggested temporarily disabling the dynamic "previously ordered" catalogue until we have established what is causing the issue.

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

I have disabled the "previously ordered" catalogue and the problem seems to have gone away.
(Another account which has just been reported as having the same problem is MOBI).

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

Any news on this?  Is there anything I can do to test the errors?
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

If I filter the history to exclude products which are no longer in our system, would that help?

It proves that this is a very useful feature as I'm getting calls from the sales force who would like it back.
The "local" history of orders taken on the iPads is limited due to having to reset them recently)

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

This is a knock-on effect of the issue in the first version of Sales Presenter to contain order history functionality (1.2.7) where deletion records weren't being processed correctly. This issue was corrected but had caused some of your order history data to contain records with blank product codes, which caused the problem you are now experiencing. We will shortly be submitting a version to Apple which will tidy up your data during the app startup process.

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

Can I "fix" this now by removing products from order hstory which no longer appear in products.csv?
Is the new version you refer to 1.3.0, or a future update?

Re: SP Crashing on Line entry for particular customer

No, the issue lies in the order history data on the devices and cannot be rectified by uploading different data files. The version we will be submitting shortly will rectify the data on those devices automatically during the app startup process. This is not to be confused with the version of Sales Presenter that was approved by Apple earlier today (1.3.0).
