SP Crashes

After downloading the latest SP update when accessing some catalogues and Family codes it now logs out.

Re: SP Crashes

Does performing a Force a Full Download on the offending iPad correct the issue?

Re: SP Crashes

Completed a Force download on a good wifi connection. It still crashes out when selecting our top 2 catalogues (Latest Products and Coming Soon) and all the Family code 2 listings when in Product Enquiry.
When in Order Entry everything works OK as normal.

Re: SP Crashes

One of our Sales Force missed the instruction to wait before updating.
They report that the "normal" search option (top-right of screen) isn't working, but the search in Rapid Entry is.  I haven't seen this for myself, yet.  I've asked them to test switching between catalogues and will update you with any feedback.

I've just tested both of these issues on another iPad with 1.2.9 and not encountered any problems (except that text for the Catalogue name with the iOS7 type display is horribly abbreviated).

Re: SP Crashes

** False Alarm **
I've been through the above with the rep concerned and he is not experiencing any problems with catalogues or search.  He was just thrown by the updated look of the app.

We've managed to address most of the cosmetic issues caused by the change between iOS 6 and iOS 7 but we are still in the process of ironing out the minor ones forced on us by Apple.

Re: SP Crashes

Just had a Rep on with the exact same issues as I reported previously on his iPad after the latest SP update.

Any update on how we can correct this issue.

Re: SP Crashes

We downloaded and tested your data on an iOS 7 device and it is working as expected. We are currently downloading your data onto an iOS 6 device for testing and will get back to you as soon as we can with our findings.

Re: SP Crashes

We've found the cause of the issue. It only occurs in product enquiry mode in iOS 5 or iOS 6. It works ok in iOS 7.

We're submitting a fix to Apple but it usually takes on average a week for any updates to be approved before they appear in the App Store.

Unfortunately you'll have to either wait for the new version of Sales Presenter to become available in the App Store or update your device to iOS 7. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
