I intend to upgrade to IOS 7. Is SP compatible with the latest operating system?
Offline
We are aware from our stats that a couple of users are already running under beta versions of iOS7 and we haven't had any reports of any issues. We are still in the process of running our own tests to confirm full compatibility.

Are there any known issues with iOS7 and Sales Presenter?
Some users may have already upgraded. I have upgraded for the purposes of testing and everything appears in order with Sales Presenter...
Thanks

We advise that users do not upgrade to iOS 7 until we've confirmed 100% compatibility for Sales Presenter.

There seems to be an issue with rep restrictions on Sales Presenter on iOS 7 devices which we are investigating.

We have completed our investigation into the rep restriction issue. This was actually a cloud synchronisation issue which we have been able to fix server-side rather than needing to produce a new version of Sales Presenter.
Sales Presenter versions 1.1.9 or later are now confirmed compatible with iOS 7 but we recommend users upgrade to the latest version (currently 1.2.8).
iOS 7 users running Sales Presenter versions 1.1.8 or earlier will no longer be able to perform any of the synchronisation functions (Download from cloud or Upload orders). When attempting to use these functions Sales Presenter will simply display a message informing the user to upgrade to the latest version (currently 1.2.8).

hadnt seen any of these posts as it didnt occur to me to check before updating iOS 7.
did some work on cloud this morning but when i tried to download onto ipad got message to say i needed to authorise ipad.
mine wasnt showing on cloud home page but my colleagues was down twice.
dont know what happened then but mine then appeared as unauthorised asking me to click 'authorise' button....which i did.
then managed to download this mornings work from the cloud but seemed to force full download rather than new bits.
seems o.k. now though

We've been patching device data this morning for accounts that were affected by the iOS 7 issues. Your account should now have the right entries in the device list.
You will need to upload your existing orders from both of your devices and then perform a Reset Database on each. This will ensure that you have all the correct data on your iPads.

We're aware that some users are having issues with SP Controller when running on iOS 7. We are currently investigating these issues.

Jumping on the iOS7 thread......
Has anyone else noticed that when swiping pages in a catalogue that you finger swipe needs to be considerably bigger?! A couple of our users and myself have noticed this. I have informed them of the option to tap in the bottom left and right corners, but this has only appeared after upgrading to iOS7.

The swiping gestures are controlled by the operating system and you're right, it does seem different on iPads running iOS 7.

The swiping seems to be ok on other apps but is more difficult in Sales presenter. Is there a way to make more sensitive?

i have two ipads on SP. i have updated some products last night and downloaded them succesfully on my ipad. my rep cannot seem to download them even after forcing a full download.

It appears that you have used the Simple Setup option on your cloud account after downloading the new products to your iPad but before your rep performed a download.
Therefore there is no longer any data held against your cloud account and your file and field mappings have been lost.
From the simple setup screen...
This option automatically re-configures the file mappings and field mappings in your cloud account to match the template CSV files that can be found in the Downloads section of this site.
All data files will be removed from the your cloud storage area. Image, movie and PDF files are safe - they will remain in your cloud storage area.
After using this option you should use the Reset Database option within Sales Presenter to remove any existing database from your device.
To prevent accidental use of this option, which will overwrite your current cloud settings, enter the code...

how do i solve this quickly?
Offline
There is no quick way of solving this.
By using the Simple Setup option you have deleted all your cloud data, file and field mappings.
You will need to set your cloud account up again.
