Catalogue Data

Until recently we had 12 visible catalogues + "Latest" on our devices.
In the last week or so, the catalogue "pricelist" seems to have disappeared from the Catalogue Button and our Database now reports we have 12 catalogues, but 11 visible.  Are you able to see from our data what has changed?  I'm not aware of changing any settings (but you never know...)
Thanks

Re: Catalogue Data

In your Catalogues CSV file you have a "PriceList" code, but in your Catalogue/Product Matrix CSV file you are referencing a code of "PRICELIST". These fields are case-sensitive so will be treated as different codes.

In the field mappings section of your cloud account it is possible to set a translation against a field to "Convert to upper-case". Doing this for the Code field on your Catalogues file and the CatalogueCode field on your Catalogue/Product Matrix file will fix your issue.

Re: Catalogue Data

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately, having applied the upper-case translation on the two fields you suggested, Sales Presenter now crashes when I try to change catalogue.

1 - I changed the translation and ran process files.
2 - File Mappings showed 12 lines.
3 - Downloaded from cloud.
4 - Database information showed 15 catalogues, 14 visible.
5 - Opened Product Catalogues - view defaults to default catalogue
6 - Press Catalogue Button - Sales Presenter crashes, logs out and minimises

I've tried to sort this by
a - removing the Translation and re-processing/uploading/downloading - same result.
b - removing the default catalogue - same result

It's probably something very basic, but I'm concerned about the mis-reporting of the no. of catalogues on the Database Information Screen, and I could do with resolving this before anyone else downloads.

Re: Catalogue Data

Unfortunately this has highlighted an issue with the translations on the cloud when converting a key field such as the CatalogueCode field on the Catalogue/Product Matrix file to upper-case.

To rectify the issue on the iPad, you will need to perform a Reset Database.

We are looking into the issues with the translations on the cloud.
