Sterling Price List

We have come across a problem with one of our EURO clients.
In their files they have a Sterling price list set up with Code 'STG', within this price list there is a product 'XYZ' set up with a sterling price of £3.77 and this price list is linked to a sterling customer 'A'  and it is ONLY linked to this customer.

they have another sterling customer 'B' who does NOT have a special price list linked to them therefore for  'XYZ' above the price should be 4.00 (the standard stock price)

However when we create an order on the ipad for Customer 'B' for product 'XYZ' the price is being pulled in at 3.77 which is the price on price list code 'STG' and this is not linked to customer B in anyway.

The currency file is set up with a Currency Code 'STG'

It would appear that the IPAD is pulling the price from the STG price list for any customer with a currency code of 'STG' even if the customer is not associated to that price list?

Re: Sterling Price List

That is correct.

When looking for price lists for a customer the system will initially look for a price list matching the primary price list code configured for the customer, then the secondary price list code configured for the customer, then a price list matching the currency code configured for the customer.

Re: Sterling Price List

Will the system still look for the secondary price list and the currency code if there is already a primary price list setup on the customer?

Re: Sterling Price List

The system will look for the product on the primary price list, if it is not found then it will look for the product on the secondary price list, if it is not found then it will look for the product on a price list matching the currency code configured for the customer. If the product was still not found then the system will use the pricing information from the product record itself.
