Default Price Stream

Support,

Is there a way to default one of our price streams (Finish) for all customers so when we enter an order it is automatically selected?

Re: Default Price Stream

Yes, the customer data upload contains a PriceStream field, which allows you to set default price streams for the customers.

Re: Default Price Stream

I added the price stream column to my customer upload data and populated this field with the number 1 to represent Price Stream 1 (Finish).  However, after doing so, uploading the data file and running download manager, I no longer see any pricing.

Re: Default Price Stream

It looks like you've added the price stream field to the middle of the customer record in your CSV file. Therefore, this will upset your field mappings for any fields that appear after this one in the record (one of which is the price list field). To avoid any disruption to the mappings we recommend always adding new fields to the end of the record.

Re: Default Price Stream

I added the filed to the end of the record and after uploading to the Cloud and downloading on my iPad it no longer shows any pricing.  Once I removed the new column, pricing returned.  How can I get this new column/field added and still have pricing show up?

Re: Default Price Stream

You MUST keep the columns in uploaded files and the corresponding field mappings in the cloud in sync otherwise nothing will work as expected.

For example, for your customer file upload you're currently mapping an "OnHold" column in the file to the field PriceStream and mapping a "Balance5" column in the file to the field PrimaryPriceList. This doesn't sound right to me.

Re: Default Price Stream

This must have been a result of the earlier upload when I added the pricestream column to the middle of the upload file, as this was not the way I originally configured it.  I have since corrected this and made sure all field mappings are in sync with the uploaded customer file and pricing is back and the default price stream is working.

Re: Default Price Stream

Excellent.

Uploading files doesn't affect any field mappings - the only time they're altered is when the Update button is clicked on the field mappings screen.
