New Use for Sales Presenter

apologies if this is a repeat post

We went through our annual stock take recently , following that we had a meeting to see how it could be improved. A great idea would be to use SP . How we would plan to use it would be to set up a customer called Stocktake, do not allow this customer access to any stock details eg Current Stock. Create an order for this customer , the counters could then use the ipad to input the count as a line on the order. The order would be exported to the cloud , from there i could import the order into my back office system as the actual count..

We would set up reps specifically for the stocktake who would only have access to the stocktake customer and use the ipads we have at present.

Early stages of this idea but wondering if there would be any issues with it , especially in the re-assigning ipads to reps for a day.

Re: New Use for Sales Presenter

Sorry meant to add that our ipad only holds what is in stock so should reflect what is in the store.

Re: New Use for Sales Presenter

There's no issue with re-assigning iPads to reps for a day.

The only issues I can see are:

1. Restricting access to any stock details isn't configurable at a customer by customer level.

2. There's nothing to stop the rep from creating a new customer on the iPad then raising an order for that customer.
