I have around 700 customers, and have elected not to use customer codes. The only one that is showing on my iPad is the last one (zephyr coast). You will find a couple that have codes...if I elect to use codes, these few will appear on my I pad.

The account code field needs to be unique for each customer account. If all the account codes are the same (e.g. blank) then the download process will think that you're simply downloading the same customer account 700 times.
If your customer data is being exported from a back-office system then there will usually be a unique field in that system for each account.
If the customer data is being prepared manually (e.g. in a spreadsheet) then you should populate the account code column with unique values for each account (if using Excel then there are ways to automatically populate columns with unique counters).
