Missing Customers and Very Odd Data??

http://www.bacapps.co.uk/forum/uploads/thumbs/326_richard_s.png

Please see a screen shot titled RICHARD S attached. This is from one of our sales guys iPad. He has just called me from an account, saying that all of his customers bar one, have disappeared yet in the Database Section it shows that they are there somewhere but only one is viewable. There are also lots of other differences for some reason such as products? He has 695, but this should read 645, he has 22 Sales Reps, and there should be 14 etc etc, please see other differences between his Database Screenshot, and mine (Alan H) which contains the correct information.

Can you help to explain what has happened here? I have asked him to force a full download, which we have both just done, and he assures me that he hasn't reset the database.

Thanks

Re: Missing Customers and Very Odd Data??

Regarding the difference in numbers of records, the data for your company has been downloaded over the top of the demonstration data (the demonstration data has 50 products, 8 reps, 1 last price record and so on). This happens when a user has downloaded the demonstration data but not used the Delete Settings option to remove the data and images before changing the user name and pass code to pair the iPad with your cloud account.

I would recommend using the Delete Settings option and starting afresh on that iPad (after making sure you've got any live orders off the iPad that you need).

Regarding the number of viewable records (such as reps and customers) this is determined by the rep restrictions that you place on an iPad in your cloud account (the iPad called Richard's iPad on your account is currently restricted to viewing information for rep 10 only, for which there are no customers).
