It's been reported to me that (at least) in rapid entry, selecting ENTER on the iPad keyboard results in what has been described as "an annoying beep".
Is this something that can be turned off anywhere (apart from using the iPad volume controls)? I've tried it myself and would have to agree...

Just by using the iPad volume controls at the moment I'm afraid. This is the "product found" beep used in rapid entry, useful when scanning products. We'll add a volume control setting in the next update.
