Hi Is it possible to be able to search the product extended description also. I think it only searches product code or product description.

Yes, we're looking to add some filters to the product search, similar to the filters recently added to the customer search.
As you say, the normal search box (in the top-right corner of the screen) only searches the product code and description fields at the moment.
The rapid entry screen searches the product code and the barcode fields (this screen is used primarily by users using bluetooth barcode scanners).

We don't have any timescale for this at the moment but I anticipate it will be within the first quarter of 2013.

We seem to have the opposite "problem". When we search for Ideal, we'd like to just see Products called _Ideal_, but it's returning Products where the extended description contains "Ideal for...". Are there plans for filters such as the (very useful) one in Customer Search?
