no worries. will try to simplify through family codes but would appreciate any updates on the new feature if possible.
we are at the point where we can navigate around app, take orders from customers and email etc. i havent put any stock figures on as yet but suspect i have made a huge flaw in the way i have compiled my product list.
our own xl/crystal report stock file would include many codes which have since been discontinued. many of these will had a small balance or a minus balance (eg oversold - wrong item sent out etc). the number of codes is around 4600. these would also include stock which we bring in for a particular customer and doesnt need to go on the sales presenter (not for general sale). i have trimmed this down to the 1800 lines i need for the sales presenter.
i have set my product list p from your templates but am beginning to think i should have used our own stock list and just added the photorefs.
is this correct, or is there anyway of uploading the stock where the app only identifies stock figures against product refs???

The stock figures would need to be uploaded as part of your product data upload since we don't have a separate stock-only upload.
We can provide solutions that help automate the integration between back-office systems and the cloud. This also gives the ability to merge data from different sources prior to uploading the data to the cloud. I can get our sales team to contact you if you wish to explore this.

good idea. we can kind of work without for for the moment but is something we are going to need as we go on.

ipad showing optional clearance catalogue (as automatically generated in configuration) for items where i have entered a clearance prices. however, my colleague doesnt have the optional button even though we use the same files. the clearance items still show in main catalogue but they do show the clearance prices.
any thoughts?

Your colleagues iPad is currently running version 1.1.9 of Sales Presenter. This had an issue with the dynamic clearance catalogues so I recommend upgrading to the latest version (1.2.1) and trying again.
If the iPad is an iPad 2 or later then I also recommend installing the latest version of iOS6 too (the iPad is currently using iOS5). On iOS5, there is a cosmetic issue in the current SP version (to be fixed in the next version) which always shows the order acknowledgement preview in portrait mode (even when working in landscape mode).
