There is no way round this at the moment. SP expects the separator to be a decimal point. We will add this requirement to our development wish list.

CSV files uploaded to the cloud can contain standard ASCII characters, extended symbols (such as cents, pound sign, yen, euro) and certain accented letters. All other extended ASCII characters will be automatically stripped out of the CSV data as it is being processed on the cloud.
Can you send an email to the forum admin (using the email address you sent an email to yesterday) with details of the letters you're having trouble with and we'll investigate this.

This happens when you have a carriage-return/line feed character embedded within your data (the usual culprit being the extended description). These characters end the current record in your CSV file and all the remaining data for that record gets treated as the next record.
By opening the CSV file in a text editor, such as Notepad, and scanning down the records you can easily spot the rogue descriptions and make any necessary corrections.

The only way to see the prices in SP as 6.50 would be to store them as 6.50 (not 6,50) in your CSV file.

We have now received your email regarding accented characters and will investigate since SP should cope with the characters you've mentioned.

We are not suggesting that you need to manually correct your CSV file every time you generate it from your system. Opening up your product CSV file in a text editor such as Notepad should help highlight the issues with the data that are causing it to appear the way it does in SP. This will help when changing/correcting the data in your system.

I can see from the data in your cloud account you have 185 live products and 298 that have been deleted (the deleted ones include the strange products that you had on the image you provided earlier in this topic). I'm therefore assuming that you've corrected the issue that you had with your CSV extract.

You can exclude a column from the import by removing its field mapping on the field mappings screen.

We have investigated this and cannot find any issue with the accented letters you detailed in your email - we uploaded them to one of our test cloud accounts and they display correctly in Sales Presenter.

Sorry, it's difficult to understand exactly what the issue is here. When mapping fields you will see all the columns from your CSV file so that you can decide whether or not you wish to map them. Any columns that you do not map to fields will not appear in the database on Sales Presenter.
