What sort of size are the print files? Obviously it depends on the number of items on the order, but what does the size start at?
Also if we have several user at an exhibition what would happen if several people try and print at the same time? Would it queue the jobs?

The way that printing works within SP is similar to the way emailing works. For both, SP creates a PDF of the order acknowledgement then passes these to the operating system for it to handle with its email or print processes. This means that we have no visibility over things like the size of a print job.

This would come down to the capabilities of specific printers, since they would need to manage any print queues.
