Catalogues and Response Times

We have currently 24,016 live products on SP in various catalogues.
We find the response times on opening the catalogues varies from 4 to 11 seconds, although this doesn't seem to onerous, but when on a busy stand at a show with a customer taking an order 10 seconds to open one of many catalogues doesn't show our Sales Team or the Company in the best light.
Are you able to look at our data and offer any advice how we might improve the response.
We have the SP app on 6 ipads (new 18 months ago) with latest OS and have 24gb memory spare.

Having looked at your data we can only suggest reducing the size of some of your bigger catalogues. For example, your Country Love Crafts catalogue contains over 1,100 products, so some delay is to be expected when loading it.

We are constantly working to improve the performance of the application but we have certain limitations when it comes to using memory resources. The amount of free storage space on a device does not affect the amount of memory the application is given to use.
