How can I set this up on my iphone, tried putting in the user name and password but it just wont work?

You do not use the email address and password you've set up for your cloud account.
You need to use the user name and pass code settings that can be found in the Device pairing details section of your cloud account. These are system-generated values by default but you can change them if desired.
