does a new device mean a reset order number?

Hi all,

We have had to move to a new device and of course it has reset the order number which causes us significant problems, is there an easy way to move the new device on so the next number used is a continuation of the sequence (or as near as possible)?

Re: does a new device mean a reset order number?

The order numbers will always start from 1 when working with a new device for the first time or after performing a "reset database" within SalesPresenter.

The system does generate a unique 5 digit number (a database number) for each device. This number also changes when a database is reset. The combination of the database number and the order number is guaranteed to be unique within the cloud account. The order acknowledgement is configured by default to show the order number as <database number>/<order number>.

Re: does a new device mean a reset order number?

Thanks, we need to match our invoice number to the order number from the device so would be great to be able to advance it, I'll find a work around, thanks for your help.
