From version 1.4.3 of Sales Presenter you can edit customer details directly from within the app when running on an iPad device, provided that some configuration changes are made to your cloud account to enable this feature.

You will need to specify which particular fields you wish to make editable, and which sales reps are allowed to make these changes. This can be performed via the Data Changes->Rep Data Permissions section of your cloud account. You can configure the permissions on a system-wide or rep-by-rep basis.

You can also provide an email address (if required) for someone to receive an alert when data changes are requested (this is configured via the Account Settings section of your cloud account). Data changes will be applied on the individual device automatically, but will usually be managed centrally - requested data changes will be uploaded from the device to the cloud during the synchronisation process, and can be viewed in the Data Changes->Requested Data Changes section of the cloud account. These changes can then be approved or rejected as appropriate. Approved changes will need to be reflected in your back-office system.

There are other configuration options available in the Configuration->Customer Details section of your cloud account which enable you to select whether you wish to manage data change requests centrally, the number of days before data amendments are marked as expired, and whether or not to auto-accept change requests. You should ensure that you understand these options before changing from the default settings.

An Edit button will be available within the customer enquiry screen in Sales Presenter, provided that the user has permission to edit at least one field.
