Support for the Blue Alligator applications

I am currently using 3 famili codes and I wanted to display them sorted by Description.
As the default "sorting by Description" was not working I set up a Display Sequence to force it but still I am not able to see them in the correct order.
My FamilYCodes are Alphanumeric while the Display Sequence is numeric.
What can I do?
