What are address numbers used for?

One of the fields that can be mapped on customer accounts is called Address number.

Address numbers are used when your customer accounts could potentially have more than one delivery address. There would be a separate entry in your uploaded data for each customer account and address number combination.

There is also a configuration option in your cloud account to let you set a Primary address number.

If your customer accounts only have a single delivery address then you don't need to map the address number field and you should keep the primary address number as 0 in the configuration.

If your customer accounts can have multiple delivery addresses then you should map the address number field and set the primary address number in the configuration to an address number that exists for every customer account.

If an account doesn't have an entry for the primary address number then you may experience some undesired effects during your use of the app such as:

1) being unable to search for a customer account by entering part of their company name or address,
2) having the app return you to the home screen when you try to send an email
