Hi I am new to this- I pasted my data into the template files and saved them as CSV files but when I try and upload them I get this message everytime:
Unknown type of file or filename contains invalid symbols (SAMS.csv). Please see below for more information regarding filenames.
when I save them a warning comes up that "filename.csv may contain features that are not compatible with csv (comma delimited). do you want to keep the workbook in this format?" yes is highlighted, if you press no it asks to save a copy in the latest excel format.
what am I doing wrong??
I have tried so many times and same everytime.

Getting this message when uploading files generally means that you have not configured your file mappings correctly. Alternatively it can mean that your filename contains invalid symbols. In this case, simply rename your file and upload it again.

You can customise the fields beside the images when viewing a product in the Product Details section of your cloud configuration.

If you have populated the data in your Products file and mapped the field correctly (which I can see that you have), you will be able to see the product description in the bar across the top of the product detail screen. A limited amount of space is available there, so if you find that your descriptions are being truncated I would suggest that you also map the ExDescription field in your Products file field mappings to your "Description" column. This will show the entirety of your "Description" contents below the image when you are viewing the details of a product.

thanks, I have now managed to add a small description under the product , I only did it to DH092 as a trial, however it will only show 3 lines of text underneath the product image - is there a way to show more than this.
I still cant remove the unwanted fields to the right, the only fields I want are the pack size and prices and not the sales history or clearance price. I deleted them form the excel sheet and mapped without these fields included but they were still there, please can you explain in a bit more detail how to remove these.
thanks

Whilst your ex_description field only shows a few rows, you should be able to swipe/scroll up and down to reveal more rows (well, I can)

The fields to the right of the product image when viewing the product detail can be managed from the Product Details section of your cloud configuration.
As for the first part of your question, Simon answered this accurately.

i have just looked again, in the main cloud menu there is nothing that says products details so I have gone into the products csv field mapping - looking along the left at the headings I cannot see a product details heading to map? am I looking in the wrong place?
thanks

On the home page of your cloud account you will see a Configuration button. After clicking this button, you will find the Product Details configuration section.
