Hi
We regularly issue our Sales Force with promotional fliers to push our latest products and ranges.
Now that they all have iPads, it's useful for them to have pdf copies of these leaflets, but difficult for them to know where and how to store them.
We've set up a "dummy" range of products (called flyer1, flyer2 ...); a dummy catalogue, called "Flyers" to which these products belong and assigned these in "Catalogue Products". I've uploaded a jpg of the front page of the flyer as the product image (therefore called flyer1, flyer2 ...) and uploaded the pdf of the flyer with the same naming structure.
I've set the Flyer catalogue to be the main catalogue which opens in Product Browse. Each Flyer now has it's own icon, which can be opened to access the attached pdf.
Now, as soon as the Rep opens the App, they have access to the latest products that we want them to concentrate on, with all the current fliers in a central "file", which we have control over.
Has anyone else thought of alternative uses for SP?
Thanks
Simon
(By the way, I'm not sure Admin would want to support this sort of use , but it's using exactly the same conventions as for "real" products)
