I like the clear all buttons added in 1.1.8 to the family code buttons but will there be a global clear all to save us clearing a possible 5 sections individually.

We'll take this into consideration when we revisit the product filter functionality.
At present, they are cleared when you use the All button next to the search bar in the top-right of the screen. Also, selecting another catalogue may clear one or more family code filters if the current filters aren't present in the newly selected catalogue.
