Does putting products in the new products catalogue exclude them from the main one?
One code which was re-introduced seems to appear in new section but not main
I have reset the days to 0 but now can't find in main catalogue?

The dynamic "new products" catalogue in SP simply shows the products that appeared on the iPad within the last n days (where n is the number of days configured in your cloud account).
It doesn't affect any catalogues that you've created.
