Version 1.6.3 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor release that addresses an issue with the displaying of any configured product cost prices.

- Can optionally record zero-quantity lines on an order when either the special instructions or analysis fields are populated (configured via your Blue Alligator cloud account).

- Country code now output as part of the invoice/delivery address when working with order acknowledgement templates.

Version 1.6.5 - currently awaiting Apple approval

Enhancements (iPad only, iOS 10 or later):

- "Top 10 Products by Quantity" and "Top 10 Products by Value" graphs have been added to the "Reports/Dashboard" screen. These show the top 10 selling products this year (based on the "sales year to date" figure held against a product). The "sales last year" figure is also shown for comparison purposes. The graphs can be filtered for specific catalogues or product family codes.

- A "Sales Rep Leaderboard" graph has been added to the "Reports/Dashboard" screen. This graph is intended for area managers and will only appear if the database contains more than one sales rep.

Fixes / Tweaks:

- Mandatory fields are now highlighted with a yellow background when creating new customers (iPad only).

- New customer accounts are now created correctly when the "Allow Override" option for the customer account code field (configured in your Blue Alligator cloud account) is turned off.

- The "Order Summary" report and order acknowledgement email now formats the order number according to the rules configured in your cloud account. Historical orders will continue to show the order number as uploaded from the back-office.

- The email address field on the customer record can now contain multiple email addresses (each address should be separated by a semi-colon). Only the first email address is shown on order acknowledgements.

- The product detail screen now shows products as in stock if the "free stock" figure is less than one (but greater than zero).

- Addressed an issue when copying an order from a new customer account to an existing customer account.

- Addressed an issue which prevented a price from being manually changed to the same as a system price when using quantity breaks.

- Addressed an issue which caused a crash when attempting to upload a customer note to the cloud for an account code that contained an "&" character.

- The quantity total is now formatted correctly on the order history list that can be popped up during order entry.

- The order acknowledgement generation now interprets the $OrderDiscount$ token in a template.

- Performance improvement when downloading price list/product matrix data from the cloud when start dates are not being used.

Depending on your database size, the app may take a short while to start up for the first time with this version (or when switching from one dataset to another for the first time). We recommend that you do not close the app or switch to another app while the "initialising" screen is being shown.

Version 1.6.6 - currently awaiting Apple approval

Enhancements (iOS 10 or later):

- 360 degree images sets can now be attached to products. A new PhotoRef360 field has been added to the product which, if populated, gives the name of a 360 degree image set to be displayed via the product detail screen (iPad only) or full-size image screen (both iPad and iPhone) for a product during product enquiry or order entry. The user can then swipe left/right to rotate the product. A guide to working with 360 degree image sets will be available shortly.

- Minor cosmetic tweaks.

Depending on your database size, the app may take a short while to start up for the first time with this version (or when switching from one dataset to another for the first time). We recommend that you do not close the app or switch to another app while the "initialising" screen is being shown.

Enhancements:

- The Backorder Summary report can now be sequenced by account/address. Optional sub-totals can be shown. A grand total is always shown.

- Performance improvement when generating an order acknowledgement PDF from a template.

Fixes / Tweaks:

- The Order Summary report no longer crashes when trying to report on an order for a new customer that doesn't have a currency set against their account.

- The rapid entry option during Order Entry can now find product codes that have bracket symbols in them.

- 360-degree product images are now shown correctly on iPhone X devices.

- The list of countries is now shown in country name sequence rather than country code sequence.

- Customised catalogue styles with more than 10 product thumbnails per page are now displayed correctly (there is a maximum of 85 thumbnails per page).

- The available figures shown on the product thumbnails now change when the display unit is changed.

- The gross order value on sales tax order acknowledgements generated via a template is now the nett order value plus sales tax.

- A rounding issue has been addressed when calculating and displaying values to different levels.

- Available totals are now only shown during order entry when raising an actual order, since the raising of quotes, invoices and credit notes don't affect the available stock figure.

- Tapping on a product thumbnail during order entry no longer attempts to reprice a zero-quantity order line already on the order.

- Compiled with the iOS 11 SDK

This version also includes pre-release versions of newly revamped customer enquiry and order enquiry screens. We are looking for a limited number of users to trial these screens and provide feedback to us before the screens are ready to be released to everyone. iPad specific changes:

- New-look customer and order enquiry screens when running on iOS12.0 or later

Order entry changes:

- Re-entering the product detail screen for a zero-quantity line on an order no longer resets the price to its default
- Rapid-entry now accepts product codes with bracket symbols in them
- Minimum price check is now performed when typing in a discount
- Default price is now set correctly when switching between linked products that have a "last price" recorded against them

Other fixes/tweaks:

- Orders for new delivery addresses now upload to the cloud (attempts to upload the order crashed the app in the previous version)
- Templated order acknowledgements now pick up any image filenames embedded in the template
- Tweak to the printable area on a templated order acknowledgement to prevent descenders on some lower case letters (and underscores) from being cut-off
- Minor cosmetic tweaks
