Version 1.2.5 - currently awaiting Apple approval

General enhancements:

- Order entry - up to five "order line" analysis fields can now be recorded against each line on an order (configurable via your Blue Alligator cloud account). Each analysis field can be configured to be either a text entry or lookup field.

- Order entry - the existing five order analysis fields on the order header screen can now be configured to be either text entry or lookup fields (previously they had to be lookup fields).

- Order entry - a "previously ordered" dynamic catalogue is now available. This allows you to easily see what products the customer has ordered before, based on other orders that exist on the device for the same customer.

- Order acknowledgement - the new order line analysis fields can be shown on the acknowledgement.

iPad only enhancements:

- Reporting - the backorder summary report can now be sequenced by order reference.

- Full screen product image display - where a product has multiple images you can now switch between these images while viewing them at full screen size.

Tweaks/Fixes:

- The unit entry screen on the iPhone/iPod touch version now only lets you select a unit (carton, inner or pack) that has a non-zero size.

- Cosmetic tweaks.

- Continued improvements in reducing the memory footprint required during use.

The documentation and cloud configuration section will be updated shortly to reflect changes made in this version.

Version 1.2.6 - currently awaiting Apple approval

Order entry enhancements:

- The same product can now appear on an order more than once (iPad only)

- Linked/related products (configured via a new data upload to your cloud account) can now be shown on the product detail screen and easily switched between (iPad only, requires iOS6 or later)

- Quantity break pricing can now be shown on the product detail screen

- Margin percentage can now be shown on the product detail screen (with option to obscure it)

Tweaks/fixes:

- Order acknowledgement - the order line analysis fields now show the descriptions rather than the codes when using lookups

- SP controller mode - this now uses the special instructions/analysis field lookup data from the iPad rather than from the local database on the iPhone/iPod touch

- SP controller mode - addressed a stability issue when completing order line entry on the iPhone while the user repeatedly taps the screen on the iPad

Version 1.2.7 - currently awaiting Apple approval

Order entry enhancements:

- The default line discount is now re-evaluated whenever selecting an alternate price from the list of available prices

- You can now enter discounts when working with manually entered prices

- The margin percentage (available on the product detail screen) can now show either the markup (as in earlier versions) or the profit margin (configured via your Blue Alligator cloud account)

iPad only enhancements:

- You can now see historical order information, if available, from the back-office system

- Additional views (such as one product per page, two per page, four per page) are now available when browsing products

Tweaks/fixes:

- The quantity breaks shown on the product detail screen now come from the product discount matrix if not using quantity breaks on price lists

- The data download process now copes with product codes containing backslash characters

- The +/- button responsiveness on product thumbnails has been improved when you're not working with linked products

- Disappearing product thumbnails during order entry has now been addressed

- Linked products are now shown in the sequence configured in your linked product data upload

Version 1.2.8 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor release containing tweaks/fixes to the order history functionality:

- Cosmetic changes when displaying the order number for historical orders. Now always shows the order number from the back-office system

- Performs a once-only re-download of all the order history data. This addresses issues with viewable/non-viewable orders on rep specific devices and processes order history deletions correctly

Version 1.2.9 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor update containing various tweaks/fixes:

- Now uses the PhotoRef value for a product when determining the names of product PDF files (previously only product images and movies used this value)

- Thumbnails on the product enquiry screen now take note of the default price sequence configured in the Blue Alligator cloud account (to determine whether to show the clearance price in preference to the standard price for a product, if available)

- Customer enquiry - when deleting a temporary customer account, any associated addresses are now deleted too

- Order entry - for multi-delivery address orders, changing the entry unit while the order quantity is zero no longer causes the app to exit to the home screen upon subsequent taps of the plus/quantity buttons

- Order entry - entries in the backorder list are now shown in due date/order ref sequence (previously they were displayed in order ref sequence)

- Order entry - entries in the order history list are now shown in descending due date/order number sequence (previously they were displayed in descending order number sequence)

- SP Controller mode now connects the two devices correctly in iOS7

- Various cosmetic changes

Version 1.3.0 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor update containing a bug fix in product enquiry when running under iOS 5 or iOS 6. Some users were experiencing the app returning to the home screen in version 1.2.9 when selecting some catalogues or family codes.

Version 1.3.1 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor update containing the following:

- Bug fix in the generation of the "previously ordered" dynamic catalogue when using historical order information.

- Product PDFs display correctly when the product "photoref" field is populated.

Version 1.3.2 - currently awaiting Apple approval

Order entry enhancements (iPad version only):

- Order lines list now shows additional fields from the line (such as special instructions and user fields).

- Backorder list now shows the selling price field.

- Lines* option added to the product detail screen. This allows you to quickly switch between lines of the same product (or to add a new line) without needing to return to the product thumbnail screen first.

- Clipboard* option added to the product detail screen. This allows you to copy and paste quantities and prices between products or to quickly paste the current quantity and/or price to all linked products. This option is turned off by default. You can turn it on via the configuration section of your Blue Alligator cloud account.

- Special instructions can now be entered directly into the order line entry section of the product detail screen rather than via a separate popup screen.

- The order line entry section of the product detail screen is now scrollable when configured to work with user fields. This allows the user fields to be entered directly into this section of the screen rather than via a separate popup screen.

Other tweaks and fixes:

- You can now email, print or open product images in other apps while viewing them at full screen size.

- The correct address number is now shown on the order acknowledgement for invoice addresses no longer on record.

- The product margin value is no longer blank on the iPhone/iPod touch product detail screen while using SP controller mode.

The cloud configuration section will be updated shortly to reflect changes made in this version.

Version 1.3.3 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor release addressing a couple of issues found in version 1.3.2:

- Lines option on the product detail screen is now disabled on iPad devices when working in rapid entry mode.

- App no longer crashes on iPhone/iPod touch devices when manually entering a product code in rapid entry mode.

Version 1.3.4 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor update in which we've addressed a cosmetic issue that occurred on iPad devices when dismissing the product detail screen while the on-screen keyboard was present.

Version 1.3.5 - currently awaiting Apple approval

- Added search filters to the order enquiry screen.

- Ability to set quantity break usage and primary discount code when creating a new customer.

- Czech, French and German localisations.

- Order summary report can now be filtered by order type.

- Dynamic clearance catalogue is no longer available if the sales rep doesn't have access to clearance prices.

- Confirmation now required before creating a multi-delivery address order.

- Ability to override default price lists, disocunt codes and price streams when creating an order (if configured via your Blue Alligator cloud account).

- Addressed some cosmetic issues when running under iOS7.0 and above.

Version 1.3.6 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor release containing the following:

- Addressed a cosmetic issue on the product detail screen when the price and discount buttons aren't enabled.

- The product PhotoRef field can now accept a list of photo references. Useful if you want to display both product specific photos and common photos (such as packaging photos) for a given product. The import file formats documentation will shortly be updated to reflect this change.

Version 1.3.7 - currently awaiting Apple approval

A minor release containing an additional tweak to the product PhotoRef field functionality that got left out of the final build of version 1.3.6
