I see that the SP App itself takes up 3.6MB
Does the App use any other storage on the iPad for the data and photos? If so I didnt know if this came under App or Other storage when viewed in iTunes.

When you use the Download from Cloud option within Sales Presenter your data and images are downloaded from your cloud account to your iPad.
On the iPad you can go into Settings->General->Usage->Show All Apps->SP Professional to check how much storage space your data and images are using.
You would need to check the iTunes documentation/help to determine how it reports application data usage.
