Is there a way to get a larger amount of descriptive information of the product on the invoice with multiple lines or automatically using the special instruction area? If I increase the amount of allowed writing space it pushes the price information off the page.
Offline
There is no way at the moment. We have plans to allow the user to create a template for their order acknowledgements in the future but unfortunately don't have any timescale at present.

I am attempting to use the special instruction field for what I need but it seems to be limited to about 130 characters even though I have it set up to allow up to 500. Is this correct or can I use more space?
Offline
While you can configure the maximum amount of text that you can type into the special instructions fields they will still only appear in a set space on the order acknowledgement until we've made this template-based.
For users that are downloading orders into their back-office system, the complete contents of the special instructions field will be downloaded.

Can you say if the timescale for the user defined template is near the top of the wish list or further down the line?
Offline
The user-defined template work is still some way down the line. However, we'll make some changes to the output of the description and special instructions fields to resolve your specific issue sooner.

Thanks that would help a lot.

Will this next update allow more information to be printed in the description field area?

This won't be present in version 1.1.8. It's currently being investigated by one of our developers.

An update on this issue...
Version 1.1.8 has been released today and we managed to slip in some last minute changes to the order acknowledgement configuration.
You can now choose to show the "extended description" field for each product rather than the "description" field. If showing the extended description, this will span multiple lines as required.
Similarly, the special instructions field will now span as many lines as required (previously it displayed a maximum of two lines).
Let us know whether or not this helps with your issue.

Just checked it out and it looks like it will work perfectly. Thank's!

This seems to be back to its original set up as well as Fourth line of optional text to display at the bottom of the order acknowledgement.

It sounds like something has changed regarding the default behaviour when wrapping text now that we're building the app (from version 1.5.1) with the latest iOS 9 development tools. We'll investigate and fix this. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Offline
As suspected, the default text wrapping behaviour has changed with the iOS 9 development tools. We've rectified this and will shortly be submitting the next release (version 1.5.3) to Apple.
Offline
Any idea of when the new 1.5.3 will be out?
It is a big issue on this end. Very difficult to work around. Hopefully soon?
Offline
Unfortunately this is beyond our control. Version 1.5.3 was submitted to Apple on the 22nd of December and is currently going through their review process before it appears in the App Store.
If you subscribe to the version history topic at http://www.bacapps.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=26 then you'll receive an email notification as soon as the new version becomes available.
