I have been trying to set up Family and sub groups but think I have now seen a Forum query where this is not possible?
If so is this in develpoment list?

The five family code filter buttons in Sales Presenter are currently independant of each other. They will always show the full list of family codes assigned to a particular button regardless of other family code filters already selected.
We are working on an enhancement to allow each of the buttons to be aware of previously selected filters and only show family codes relevant to those filters. Please see the following topic for more information: http://www.bacapps.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?id=127
